New Art and a Solo Show!
Things have been busy in the studio these last few months. First and foremost I am excited to make available for sale six water color pieces that are part of the Seaside Snow Squall Series – these are a new approach for me and I hope you enjoy them! The collection is the result of a surprise snow storm while I was taking a few days off at the shore. I could not help but attempt to carry to the canvas the surreal landscape – the peace of the snow covered boardwalk and beach coexisting with the power and fury of the raging surf were gorgeous reminders that although we often face extremes, we owe it to ourselves to recognize and use the space between them where balance and peace reside.
These pieces will be included in my solo art show hosted by Art House Gallery in Jersey City, NJ, in February. The opening reception will be Sunday, February 9th from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. I will have original art and limited edition prints of some of my favorite and most popular pieces available for purchase If you are in the area, please join me - I would love to meet you!
In 2019 through your generous interest in my art I was able to make donations to these six non-profit organizations:
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
To Write Love On Her Arms
American Federation for Suicide Prevention
Girls Going Global
Pets For Vets
My goal for 2020 is to grow the list of organizations that I can support by creating pieces that touch and inspire you, that help you feel connected and centered, and will remind you that each day is an opportunity to make great things happen! So, kicking off this year, I will be donating 25% of all sales proceeds in January and February to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital - what better evidence exists that life is full of possibilities and hope than the laughter of a child!
