ORINGINAL PIECE:

Completed as white pastel on black paper.  This piece is based on a number of sculptures from the tomb of John the Fearless by Jean de la Huerta and Antoine Le Moiturier at the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Dijon, France. Cloaked characters have always intrigued me; they are mysterious yet calming. I enjoyed crafting this piece by working somewhat backwards - I used black paper and discovered how much I enjoy greys and whites.
 
LIMITED EDITION GICLEE PRINT:
Piece Size: 14" x 11" inclusive of 1.5 inch white border
Because I want to offer you only the best giclee prints I possibly can please note that each of the 15 limited edition prints are created on archival, acid-free, museum-quality smooth 100% cotton rag paper with a natural white finish. In addition, each print is protected in an archival sleeve with an archival backing.  Also, after a careful inspection of the print, I personally hand-sign and number each piece before sending it along to you.
